Thanks for the overwhelming support from all my Family and Friends in purchasing shirts, etc. to fundraise for my son Niason's
( aka The Technician ) First BJJ Tournament. He has been training daily and continues to get better. Win, Lose, or Draw we continue to encourage his efforts and love him unconditionally.

I would like to thank everyone that supported and continues to support Niason. I'm proud to announce that Niason took 1st Place today at his Grappling Tournament!!!!!! One Rear Naked Choke submission and one Armbar Submission. They didn't give out trophies so I made him one.
( PurrFect Engravers, Shameless Plug! ) Thanks to all the people that came out, bought shirts, and sponsored Niason. Special Thanks to my brother Rick Barany for helping teach me so I can train my son. Also to UFC's

Last minute addition.
Just found out today 9/18 that there is a Jiu Jitsu Tournament being held at Queens College tomorrow
September 19, 2015. I reached out to the organizer of the event, and was able to get Niason in the tournament.
He's a little under the weather, but he's a trooper. We'll be there at 9am. Go Ni !!!!

CONGRATULATIONS
Niason " The Technician " took 3rd place today in his division at the Empire State Championships. He lost one match and won the other. The match he lost was a WAR, back and forth, the little guy he grappled was skilled and pushed Niason to the max. I want to thank him for defeating Niason, because Niason is good at learning from his mistakes and adjusting. So you just made him hungrier and better. This will make him stronger and more focused, making him continue to stay humble, and thirsty for knowledge. So this was good practice and preparation for Niason's big tournament in New Jersey on Oct. 24th. So congratulations to you Niason aka " The Technician " for fighting hard.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!
Niason " The Technician " who took
2nd Place in the NAGA World Grappling Championship in NJ today. He had 3 hard matches. Won the first two by submission and the last one was a back and forth war with Arthur ( shout out ) that went to the scorecards. Niason lost that match by points. He's getting better all the time. Thanks for everyone that supports Niason, family and friends, like Al Iaquinta and Aljamain "Funk Master" Sterling ( May 29th Let's Get Em) !! and the people that helped us train, Jason Layton from Wrestle Dynamic, and Rick Barany my brother from Dynamic Fighting Concepts. Back to the gym on Monday to train and get better,
( he wants another 1st Place Sword ) !!! :o)

GRAPPLING TOURNAMENT!!!!!!!
Congratulations to Niason "The Technician" on Winning 1st Place in his division at the Grapplefest Tournament in East Islip. As a Bonus he also grappled in the Absolute Division, which means he fought with no weight limits. The kid he fought was 12 yrs. and double his weight and size, has been training for almost 5 years and Niason almost went the distance with him in a war to take Third Place!!! We are very proud of Niason's growth in his one year of training, He is truly The Technician!!

At The
NY Summer Classic
Submisson Only Jiu Jitsu Tournament.
I'm proud to announce Niason " The Technician " took 1st Place today at the Good Fight Summer Classic Submission Only Tournament. His second fight was a battle to the end, people we didn't even know were cheering, ( What a great feeling ) the match went to sudden death, Mount Escape, Back Control Escape, and Takedown. In the end Niason was able to blast through with the first Takedown in order to take home the win. Our Jiu Jitsu instructor Rick Barany, was present and impressed with Niason's consistent improvement, and surprisingly Promoted Niason " The Technician " to his Junior Blue Belt !!!!!!! This is a real big deal, and we are all so proud of him, and his hard work. This 1st Place Win automatically qualifies Niason to compete in December, at the Worlds Champion BJJ Submission Only Tournament in PA.

on December 10. He had two tough matches, and pulled out the W in both. We are so proud of all his hard work and accomplishments throughout the year leading up to this day! Thanks to everyone that helped us train for the Worlds, and everyone that has always supported Niason, this win was for you!!

To Niason "The Technician" for winning the
1st Place Gold Medal in Gi and No Gi at the
Well Run Tournaments BJJ Championship
I'm extremely happy and proud of him because the night before was the first time Niason had ever put on a Gi, and this was his first time competing with the Gi, which is a different monster than competing No Gi. I trained him hard, based on what I knew on positioning and grips, for only one week, to get him acclimated with the Gi, and he did amazing. We have a lot more growing and learning to do.
